NHRCCC - Club Championship Rules
ELECTRIC CHAMPIONSHIP
We race all classes to the NHRCC Rules with the exceptions of GT-19, TT-01 and Modified (click to view the rules)
The 2007 NHRCCC Club Championship will be contested for the following classes:
1. Tamiya TT-01
2. HPI Challenge
3. Pro12
4. GT-19
5. Touring Stock
6. Touring Modified
ELECTRIC – Championship Format
1. The Championship will be contested over 11 Rounds, beginning 25th February 2007.
2. All 11 rounds will count toward the Championship with the competitors worst two Round results being discarded.
3. TURBO POINTS : At any two Championship Rounds each competitor may elect Turbo Points. This means that that competitors points total for the day, in all classes entered, will be doubled. This option must be exercised at time of registration for the meeting and signed for by the competitor. Once this option has been exercised it may not be rescinded.
Note: The Club Classic is exempt from this option and Turbo Points may not be elected for this meeting. As usual the Club Classis will be a double points meeting.
4. Three Championship meetings, randomly selected by the Club Secretary, will be held in the reverse direction. Competitors will be notified at registration if the meeting is to be held in this manner.
ELECTRIC – Race Day Format
1. Each day will consist of four rounds of competition.
2. Three rounds will be qualifying. Points will be awarded 1st – 10pts, 2nd – 9pts etc for each qualifying round and will count toward the Club Championship.
3. Each competitors fastest single qualifying time will determine his/her finals position.
4. Finals points will be awarded for finishing order, A-Final 30pts- 21pts, B-Final 20pts – 11pts, C-Final 10pts – 1pt.
5. Qualifying and Finals points will be totalled to give the competitors total score for the day.
6. In the event of Finals being rained off, Finals points will be awarded on qualifying position.
NITRO TOURING
1. The Championship will be contested over 11 Rounds, beginning 25th February 2007.
2. The 25th Feb Round will be for Saloon bodies and every second round after will be for Can-Am bodies.
3. All 11 rounds will count toward the Championship with the competitors worst two Round results being discarded.
4. Each day will consist of four rounds of competition.
5. Three rounds will be qualifying. Each competitors single fastest time will determine his/hers qualifying position and points will be awarded 1st – 10pts, 2nd - 9pts etc.
6. Finals points will be awarded 1st – 25pts, 2nd – 20pts, 3rd – 15pts, 4th – 11pts, 5th - 10pts, 6th – 9pts, 7th – 8pts, 8th – 7pts, 9th – 6pts, 10th – 5pts.
7. Qualifying and Finals points will be totalled to give the competitors total score for the day.
8. In the event of Finals being rained off, Finals points will be awarded on qualifying position.
