    NHRCCC - Club Championship Rules

    OUTDOOR ELECTRIC CHAMPIONSHIP

    We race all classes to the NZRCA Rules with the exception of  Super Stock which requires the use of controlled tyres purchased through the club and prohibits the use of turbo timing.

     

    The 2011 NHRCCC Club Championship will be contested for the following classes:

    1. Mini
    2. F1
    3. Pro12
    4. Touring Stock
    5. Super Stock
    6. Touring Modified

    ELECTRIC – Championship Format

    1. The Championship will be contested across the entire year, beginning February.

    2. All rounds will count toward the Championship with the competitors worst rounds being discarded.The number of rounds discarded will be calculated on the number of meetings run in the year and at a ratio of 1 worst rounded for every four rounds that are raced across the entire season eg if 8 rounds held the worst 2 will be dropped for each racer.

    ELECTRIC – Race Day Format

    1. Each day will consist of four rounds of competition.

    2. Three rounds will be qualifying. Points will be awarded 1st – 10pts, 2nd – 9pts etc for each qualifying round and will count toward the Club Championship.

    3. Each competitors fastest single qualifying time will determine his/her finals position.

    4. Finals points will be awarded for finishing order, A-Final 60pts, 55pts, 50pts etc. B-Final 10pts, 9pts, 8pts 

    5. Qualifying and Finals points will be totalled to give the competitors total score for the day.

    6. In the event of Finals being rained off, Finals points will be awarded on qualifying position.

    NITRO TOURING

    1. The Championship will be contested over the entire year, beginning February.

    2. All rounds will count toward the Championship with the competitors worst three rounds being discarded.

    4. Each day will consist of four rounds of competition.

    5. Three rounds will be qualifying. Each competitors single fastest time will determine his/hers qualifying position and points will be awarded 1st – 10pts, 2nd - 9pts etc.

    6. Finals points will be awarded 1st – 25pts, 2nd – 20pts, 3rd – 15pts, 4th – 11pts, 5th - 10pts, 6th – 9pts, 7th – 8pts, 8th – 7pts, 9th – 6pts, 10th – 5pts.

    7. Qualifying and Finals points will be totalled to give the competitors total score for the day.

    8. In the event of Finals being rained off, Finals points will be awarded on qualifying position.
