Touring Modified Club Rules
NHRCCC allow brushless motors to be used in the 12 turn Modified Touring Car class at club meetings inline with the following rules.
These rules apply to NHRCCC Club meetings only, it must be noted that the NZRCA rules DON'T currently allow brussless motors so carefully check the rules for this class at any other NHRCCC event.
Rules:
- Brushless 540 type motors will be allowed to be used in the touring modified class at NHRCCC.
- Novak, LRP and Nosram Controllers and Motors are the only allowable brands of motor/controller.
- The lowest permitted motor will be a 7.5 with sintered or bonded rotor. However 6.5 motors with bonded rotor will be allowed until the end of the 2008 season.
- Speed controllers must be sensored .
- Speed controllers and motors/rotors must be matched from the same manufacturer – no hybrid mix’s will be permitted.
- It is the drivers responsibility to be able to prove that their system is compliant.
- The NHRCCC Committee reserves the right to ammend the rules at any time to ensure the class is raced in the spirit of the 12T motors it was intented for.
